Robotics classes in Abu Dhabi that turn "I'm bored" into "look what I built"

Some children come home buzzing about what they learned. Others come home silent. If your child lights up around gadgets but fades in worksheets, that is not a discipline problem - it is a brain that learns by building.

The window for builder brains is real - and it is now.

The children who thrive in the next decade will not be the ones who memorized the most. They will be the ones who can look at a problem, break it down, and build a solution.

That way of thinking forms fastest between ages 6 and 14 - one project, one "it works!" moment at a time. Every term spent only consuming screens is a term that could have been spent creating with them.

What your child actually does here

In Shining Star's LEGO Robotics program, your child builds and programs real robots in small groups, guided by specialist coaches. They think they are playing. You will know they are engineering.

"Robotics: where technology meets creativity, and friendships are engineered for the future."

Skills you will see at the dinner table

Mechanical and electronic integration with real LEGO builds
Kinematics and motion control with LEGO motors
Core robotics, programming and engineering fundamentals
Sensor interfacing - robots that see, hear and react
Creative problem-solving through real-world challenges
Teamwork and confidence that carries back into the classroom
Level 1

Little Builders

SPIKE Essential - first machines, first code blocks

Level 2

Young Engineers

WeDo - motors, sensors and simple programs

Level 3

Robot Makers

SPIKE Prime - real robotics, real competitions prep

Level 4

Team Innovators

EV3 / Prime advanced - FLL challenge track

Proof, Not Promises

Our teams do not just attend competitions. They win them.

FLL award winners in Abu Dhabi for four consecutive years, across categories - including the 2023 overall championship won by our own CoderMinds and BEES teams. ACTVET-accredited. Teaching since 2016.

Project-based learning

Every session ends with something built, tested and improved - not a worksheet.

Specialist robotics coaches

Instructors who compete, not just teach - the same mentors behind our FLL wins.

Safe, child-friendly lab

Small batches, supervised builds, and a centre designed for young engineers.

Questions, answered

What robotics parents ask first

No - Level 1 assumes zero experience. Children start by building with their hands and dragging simple code blocks; the programming grows as their confidence does. Most of our FLL team members started exactly where your child is now.

Both, honestly. It is structured play with real outcomes: maths (angles, distances, logic), physics (gears, motion, sensors) and persistence (debugging teaches children that failing forward is normal). Parents regularly tell us school focus improves first - the trophies come later.

Robotics is quietly social. Children pair up to solve builds, and conversation happens around the robot, not across a desk - which is exactly why shy builders tend to open up here. Small batches mean no child hides at the back.

All kits, tablets and materials are provided at the centre - you bring nothing but the child. Fees depend on level and schedule; book the free demo and we will give you the exact number and available days in one conversation, with nothing hidden.

The first class is free - and your child will build something in it.

Book a free demo, watch the "it works!" moment happen in the first hour, and decide with your own eyes.
